July 4th Camping Trip

We went camping for 9 days & 8 nights. It was my longest camping trip. We stayed at a KOA in Woodstock, NH. The mountains were beautiful this time of year. The weather was a little rainy for my tastes, but still a lot of fun all the same. We'll definitely have to do it again sometime.
We survived a 6 mile hike in the Lincoln Woods. Tenielle's first hike and she did amazingly well.

The gorgeous river along the Lincoln Woods Trail.

The three of us st Clark's trading post in Lincoln, NH.

Grandma & Grandpa Melendy (Tom & Sharon) with Tenielle at Clark's Trading Post.

Happy Face

Silly Face

Worried Face

Tenielle is thinking....is it food? Come closer so I can see.

Please no more baby fish.

Ummmmm...What tasty fingers I have. Must be no concession stand at this basketball game.

Tenielle is watching the very exciting basketball game. Sean, Brendan, Jess and Tom were playing. She is quite the cheerleader. She had to clap for daddy's awesome plays.

With every camping trip you've got to do a little swimming. Tenielle got her first chance. She thought the water was a little cold though. She tried out the KOA pool and the the frigid mountain stream. Oddly enough she liked the stream more. You'd think is was colder and it was, but I think she liked the sand between her toes the best. Kids and dirt just seem to attract each other.

What fun! It looks like you had a blast. We'll have to take the little ones camping together sometime. :)

Great pictures, Karen! It's so nice to be able to "keep up" with you this way! What is your email? I'll have to send a photo or two your way of the happenings here. Your baby is adorable, and she looks so happy! It was great to see the rest of your family out at Happy last week. Wish all of us could get together, but not sure when that will be. love, Tonia
